Prioritising Relationships

You don’t get far when reading about or researching Unschooling without coming across the idea that prioritising your relationship with your child is paramount to success. It is the pillar that holds everything else up or the foundation on which everything else is built. Without it you can still build an adequate structure but in time it will sag and crack.

When you are faced with a choice in your day, choose the path that will bring most joy. Choose the option that brings the most peace or the most fun. Pave a way forward that brings an amicable solution for all parties involved and forges connection not divide.
